The LL.M by coursework is a fully taught programme. There are a variety of programmes such as :

Entry Requirements
a) The minimum entry requirements for the LLM by coursework are as follows:
- A first degree in law with at least a CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent; or
- Other qualifications relevant to legal studies that are recognised by the Faculty
b) A candidate who does not meet the minimum requirement as mentioned in (a) above but has the relevant working experience would be considered.
Mode of Study
Full-time : 2 semesters
Part-time : 4 semesters
Classess : 6.30pm-9.30 pm (Monday - Friday) for both Full-time and Part-time mode of studies.

Entry Requirements
a) The minimum entry requirements for the LLM by coursework are as follows:
• A first degree in any field from a university recognised by the government of Malaysia with a minimum of at least a CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent; or
• A first degree in any field from a university recognised by the government of Malaysia with a minimum of at least a CGPA of 2.50 plus at least 2 years working experience.
b) A candidate who does not meet the minimum requirement as mentioned in (a) above but has the relevant working experience would be considered.

LW751 MASTER OF LAWS ( BY RESEARCH)
Introduction
This programme intends to train candidates to develop some conceptual and analytical capabilities in the field of law through a rigorous examination of an original study to be conducted under the supervision of a supervisor from the faculty. At the end of the programme, candidates are required to submit a thesis not exceeding 50,000 words and go through a viva voce successfully.
Admission Requirement
a) Applicant must have a recognised Master degree in Law with a Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA) of at least 2.75 or equivalent.
b) Application must be accompanied by a written research proposal in the required format.
c) Candidates are required to succesfully undergo an interview with the Faculty’s Postgraduate Committee.

Guidelines for International Applicants
1) Academic Qualification
Master’s Program - Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in a relevant field of study from a university that is recognized by the University Senate and the Malaysian government.
2) English Language Proficiency
All international applicants from non-English speaking countries applying for postgraduate studies in UiTM are required to show proof of English language proficiency as follows:
- TOEFL certificate with a score of at least
- 550 for (paper based), or
- 213 (computer based), or
- 79-80 (IBT), or
- An IELTS certificate with at least Band 6.0

Programme Details
