Faculty Film, Theatre and Animation, UiTM approach to postgraduate study reflects an emphasis on the individual student’s ability to work independently, to take the initiative in exploring a line of research or acquire a new skill. The programme aims to develop global leader and academician with insight on thriving creative industry and their unique challenges.

Master of Artistic and Creative Technology (FF750) by Research
Synopsis
The Faculty of Film, Theatre, and Animation is delighted to offer Masters by Research and PhD with a range of exciting specialisms within the creative industries domain. Both Masters and PhD programmes are based upon supervised but largely independent study. The Masters by Research and PhD in Film, Theatre and Animation are not taught courses, and therefore there are no modules offered. Instead, the individual student defines their own set of research questions in conversation with their supervisory team. Areas of specialism include: aspects of creative industries, ranging from legal and copyright issues to funding and policy; theatre, drama, and performance; film, animation, and digital arts; and, creative writing and literary studies, among others.
