AT731 - Master of Science (Soil Science) by mixed-mode
This programme consists of 70% research and 30% taught course. The core courses of this programme cover current issues in Soil Science, Microbiological Processes in Soils and Soil Water and Plant System. Students are required to select one of the three elective courses which are Land-use and Environment, Soil Morphology and Classification and Fertilizer Technology and Nutrient Management. The final component of the programme is a research project on an approved topic relevant to the focus of the programme.
Candidates applying for this course should fulfill the following qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in the field of agriculture and plantation technology management or its equivalent from related disciplines with minimum CGPA 3.00.

Students are required to select one of the four elective courses which are Transformation in Crop Production Technology, Controlled Environment Crop Production, Crop Improvement and Conservation and Organic Food Crop Production. The final component of the programme is a research project on an approved topic relevant to the focus of the programme.

This programme consists of 70% research and 30% taught course. The core courses of this programme cover current issues in Agribusiness. Advance Agribusiness Management and Advance Agricultural Production Economics. Students are required to select one of the four elective courses which are International Agricultural Commodity Marketing, Agricultural Trade and Policy, Financial Management in Agriculture and Agricultural Supply Chain Management. The final component of the programme is a research project on an approved topic relevant to the focus of the programme.
Entry Requirement
Candidates applying for this course should fulfill the following qualifications:
A BSc (Hons) (Agribusiness) or its equivalent from related disciplines) from UiTM with a CGPA at least 3.00; or
A BSc (Hons) (Agribusiness) or its equivalent from related disciplines) from any local or foreign universities with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or its equivalence; or
A BSc (Hons) (Agribusiness) or its equivalent from related disciplines) with a CGPA of at least 2.75 and working experience of at least 2 years in related field.
